I first met Jona Than when we were looking to hire staff for our ministry in Santiago Zamora. And what started out as work relationship has evolved into a deep friendship that feels like family. Jonathan, I’m grateful for the years God has given us together.

Youth Group Beach Bash

We had a great time with the IDC Youth Group at the beach this week.

We focused on our identity in Christ while swimming, singing, eating, laughing and generally having an awesome couple of days. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” II Corinthians 5:17.

Back in September, when we were in Virginia, we were not able to visit our home church. But now, in November, we get to be there through the magic of video. With modern technology, serving abroad is much easier for us than it was for those who went before us.

Abeja Flowers

On Wednesday afternoons, Maureen teaches English to a beautiful group of women who work with Abeja Flowers. Abeja is a business and a ministry designed to provide work and empower women as they rise from difficult life situations.

This precious time is always a highlight of her week.
