This morning at our monthly Antigua pastor prayer breakfast, a team from Vida para Niños shared about the need for foster families in Guatemala. Surely there are families in our congregations who can help meet this growing need!
This week our town hosts one of the largest Semana Santa celebrations in the world and this week Iglesia del Camino opened up her cafe doors to provide our local police with cold water, hot coffee and a well-deserved place to sit down.
We absolutely love the creative ways the Iglesia Del Camino team serves her community!
During the weeks leading up to Easter, the ratio of cars to parking spaces becomes bigger while our streets become exponentially more beautiful.
This is all part of our little town gearing up for one of the world’s largest Holy Week (Semana Santa) celebrations.
We got to be a part of the Push the Rock Latin America Summit this week as the pastoral care team. What a privilege it was for Maureen and I to encourage and pray for heroes of the faith from Brazil, Costa Rica, Guatemala and the US!
