Most towns in Guatemala have set up their own checkpoints at their points of entry. Everyone is stopped and people are friendly. Be sure to add extra time to your travel plans!
In Guatemala, you, by law, have to wear a mask when you leave the house! That will not be an issue here this weekend because, as of last night, the entire country has been closed down. Pray for us and our host country as we all navigate COVID together.
