Stay Connected Posted on May 19, 2023 by Todd Reply This week I got to be a part of Magda and Argenis’ ministry to high school students. We talked (and doodled) about staying connected to the vine (John 15).
bilingüe Posted on May 12, 2023 by Todd Reply At IDC, the Sunday morning speaker/translator connection is so important. Since we are a bilingual congregation, when it is my Sunday to preach, I preach in English and the message is translated into Spanish. The opposite is true when Pastor Giovanni preaches. The goal is clarity and inspiration in both languages. We are so thankful for our sharp team of translators who serve faithfully every Sunday!
The Derby Posted on May 5, 2023 by Todd Reply Tomorrow is race day! Tell us your pick for the Kentucky Derby in the comments of this post and if your pony wins, we’ll send you freshly roasted Guate Coffee beans! Enjoy.
Sebastian Posted on April 28, 2023 by Todd Reply Please join us in praying for our friend Sebastian and his wife Ashlynn. This is their post from a day ago: It has been a hard night. Sebastian has been having a very high fever that will not come down despite all the medicines they are throwing at him. His heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels are struggling quite a bit as well. This has been going on for over 17 hours now. He’s in a lot of pain. He’s exhausted and just wants some relief. Please take a moment and pray for him. This battle is so hard and he continues to trust in the Lord and seek him for comfort and strength. The doctors aren’t sure what is causing this yet, it could be the reactions they expected from the CAR-T treatment, but it could also be from an infection or other things. No matter the source of this discomfort, we pray he is comforted and given peace that only the Lord can provide. It is so hard to see him like this but we know we are not alone and God will never leave our side.
