We are so proud of our church and the police chaplain program. The streets of our town are filled during Semana Santa which means that our police force is overworked. IDC has opened up her cafe doors this week in order to provide local police a place to rest and enjoy a cup of coffee during their long shifts.

Way to go Team IDC!

She will be missed.

(from Maureen) My sisters and I got to spend a whole day with my mom still awake before she died on Sunday, March 3. There was a lot of laughter and a few tears. It was a gift. She was truly at peace.

She was an organ donor and we received this beautiful medal on her behalf.

Many people have asked but there is no funeral planned at this time, as per her request. Please keep my father, Jim, in your prayers. He sometimes looks around the apartment for her before he remembers she is gone. Otherwise, he is well cared for and doing well.
