This entire adventure began with a desire to live a life of greater dependence upon God.

Well, guess what? We got just that.

Learning a new language has challenged our confidence in ourselves, living in a new culture has removed our ability to rest upon our own giftedness and seeing a developing country first hand has challenged our capacity for compassion.

Now we daily look to God for our confidence, we thank Him often for His working in our weaknesses and we know that He is the source of all compassion.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness “ Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
