I like to know where I’m going. In fact, I like to know how I’m going to get there and I’m not great with detours, road changes or construction. This is going to be a challenge in Guatemala.

From my observation point, the roads are often changing or impassable and there are not a whole lot of street signs in our new home country. On a recent trip, someone from the team asked “Why are all the streets named ‘una via’?” (Una via translates to one way in Spanish and there are a lot of one way streets in Antigua!) Clearly we will need help.

Our help is coming from two sources: GPS Travel Maps and God. The former is electronic and will certainly contain errors. The latter is harder to read but always right.

I am praying specifically that we go where God leads us and that this divine location is found on our 3″ Garmin screen.
