(Ice-Cold) Photo of the Week

The essentials.

This morning my family and I will head to Panajachel to enjoy time with the rest of the Redeemer’s House team. Let me give you some insight into how the RHI works here in Guatemala:

There are a team of folks who serve together in Pana and there is my family (and a soon to be added couple!) serving in Antigua. We are about two and a half hours away from each other. Antigua is much closer to Guatemala’s capital, Guatemala City, and as such, we have better access to the essentials like A&W, Dr. Pepper and Cherry Coke.

When serving in another country and culture, it is often the small things that make a difference. It is our hope that today’s delivery of a cooler filled with ice-cold essentials will make that difference and bless our counterparts serving in Pana.

Photos of the Week will show up every week in our Friday posts on Mission Erickson dot com. Our hope is that each weekly POTW helps you to better connect with our ministry in Guatemala. Enjoy.

  1. Amen to that! One, because God is so interested in the details of our lives and two, because God refreshes those who refresh others. Be blessed, friends. Be VERY blessed. Love you! <3
