As with most official processes here in Guatemala, there is a serious learning curve in applying for a residency visa. This visa is important because it will allow us to stay in Guatemala for extended periods of time without having to get our passports stamped in Mexico or back in the US every 6 months.
We’re working our way through the process right now and feeling a little bit of stress. Imagine the paperwork of the DMV except with some very nice people (at least so far). As we go through this process, our trip back to the US for the month of September is looming. I’m not stressing the process, I’m simply stressing cramming the process into an ever-shrinking window of time…. Our passports need the correct stamp before we head out of the country!
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6
Photos of the Week will show up every week in our Friday posts on Mission Erickson dot com. Our hope is that each weekly POTW helps you to better connect with our ministry in Guatemala. Enjoy.
