Last week the IDC family closed our office doors and headed out to serve. Under the guidance of IDCMissions, we built a house, installed water filters, worked in a wheelchair warehouse, ministered to kids and talked about Jesus. I love that IDC is so good at serving beyond our walls!

Maureen’s English classes at the National Police Academy began last night. English with a Purpose is set to impact leaders throughout Guatemala. The officers’ verse to memorize this week is “May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you!”- Psalm 20:1

Iglesia del Camino has set aside the month of May to turn our focus to prayer. Our small groups are talking about it; our Sunday morning messages are focused on it; about 90 of us have committed to praying consistently at the same time, in the same place and for the same topic for 21 days in a row and each weekday morning at 7am there is a group gathering to pray together. We are expectant. James 5:16.
