Every week at IDC, there is a verse to memorize. It is in the program one Sunday and then you get to share it the following Sunday. This practice does two great things for us: it allows us to hide God’s Word in our hearts and it helps us to prepare for the upcoming sermon. Win. Win.
At IDC on Tuesday mornings at 6:30, a group of men gather for breakfast and to talk about Jesus. Some of these men are struggling, some come from their homes, some from the street, but all arrive both spiritually and physically hungry and leave an hour and a half later satisfied in both areas.
When you teach Inglés to adults in the village, you may find yourself holding a baby so Mom can do a worksheet and there will most certainly be children enjoying the Elévate toys off to the side during your class!
