If you ever get the opportunity to live outside of your comfort zone, do it.

Since we have moved to Guatamala, we have been stretched and it has not been easy, but we have gotten to see and do so much more than we ever would have in our former, comfortable, suburban world.

Although we have settled into a routine and our daily life is filled with cultural snafoos (on our part) and a lot of language learning, we also have had the opportunity to take advantage of where we live.

There are “ancient” ruins throughout our colonial town. There are 33 volcanoes in our country. And there is unimaginable beauty here in Central America.  This past weekend we hiked the active volcano, Pacaya. It was breathtaking…
