We flew back to Guatemala on Tuesday after spending about 5 weeks with friends and family in Virginia. It really is good to be home. I slept better last night than I did in guest rooms, on air mattresses and in hotels during our last month in the States.
Things are simpler here. Life is slower. I like it.
Now, with that said…
This week, back home, I find myself in a place of greater dependence on God.
Seeking Him for direction.
Pleading with Him for grace.
Looking to Him for vision.
Relying on Him for peace.
I share this with you because I’m hoping it will be cathartic for me to say it out loud (virtually in a blog). I also share it here because if you find yourself in a similar place*, you need to know that you are not alone.
My advice for you AND for me: Lean in to Him, He is there, He wants to be found.
“You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” -God in Jeremiah 29:13.
*Would love to hear from you if this is where God has you today. Email me or Facebook inbox me, I’d love to be praying for you. -Todd
